Esther and Edwin A. Lehmann are the heart and soul of the Hotel Altana.

The host couple have been in the hospitality industry since their wedding in 1972 and both still love their job. The Upper Engadine attracted them as early as 1978 and they managed the Hotel Atlas (now Saratz) in Pontresina until 1984 before becoming directors of the 5-star Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina until 1992.

In 1993, the opportunity arose to build their own hotel – the Hotel Altana – your hotel.
